Responsibilities

  • Execute standard functional tests on electrical products and systems following established procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to perform accurate tests and some troubleshooting.
  • Provide guidance and training to Assistant Test Technicians and other junior team members.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
  • Assist in developing and improving testing procedures and protocols based on findings and feedback.
  • Identify and diagnose issues during testing and take corrective actions or escalate them as needed.
  • Utilize basic hand tools and measuring devices such as tape measures and multimeters under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, deviations, and any quality concerns.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Perform assembly tasks as assigned by supervisors to support production needs.
  • Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, associate's degree in a trade or related mechanical/electrical field is preferred.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in an electrical or mechanical-related role.
  • Sound understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to train and mentor less-experienced team members.
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment on a product floor.
  • Proficient in performing precise and delicate tasks using hands and fingers.
  • Sound attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Rounded communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft applications.
  • Basic shop math skills with the ability to calculate measurements.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to follow Health, Safety & Environment procedures accurately.

Additional Information

  • Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday- Friday), Overtime as Needed.
