Overview

Mercury Systems is a leader in making trusted, secure mission-critical technologies accessible to aerospace and defense. The company is seeking a self-motivated Intermediate Machine Operator to operate Selective Solder, Press Fit, and Depanel machines.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, and maintain selective solder, press fit, and depanel machines.
• Perform prep and manual insertion of through hole components.
• Mask PCB assemblies.
• Identify electronic components.
• Read and understand assembly drawings.
• Comprehend and perform duties in accordance with ICP 610 and J-STD 001 standards.
• Follow all PPE, safety, and environmental compliance procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of machine operation experience.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to manually lift up to 30 pounds.
• Certification in soldering is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy.
• Ability to distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tones.
• Good communication skills and ability to function in a team environment.
