Responsibilities

• Repair services for automobiles, trucks, and construction equipment.
• Perform minor repairs of equipment on jobsites.
• Determine nature and extent of damage or malfunction and order parts as needed.
• Plan all work procedures.
• Raise vehicles with hydraulic jack or hoist to access mechanical units.
• Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a mechanic, preferably with fleet vehicles or commercial equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in diagnostic tools and equipment.
