Overview

Venturi Supply is a national network of distributors specializing in pipe, valves, fittings, tanks, and industrial supplies. The Fabrication Associate will create finished products based on provided drawings and material cut lists, contributing to the company's mission of delivering critical materials and custom solutions.

Responsibilities

• Tacks material together and checks layout based on drawings before finish welding.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and sketches, following verbal and written instructions.
• Uses a tape measure and gauges to type materials according to specifications.
• Performs high-level shop math, converting decimals to fractional equivalents and vice versa.
• Layouts, measures, and marks dimensions and reference lines on materials.
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines and uses air/hand tools.
• Inspects parts for accuracy and produces quality products consistently.
• Completes additional projects as assigned by the supervisor.
• Performs additional duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Technical knowledge of machinery, tools, gauging, and fabrication.
• 1 year of fabrication experience required.
• Computer literate and proficient with MS Office 365.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems effectively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience with quality control analysis.
• Basic knowledge of math and geometry.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Detail-oriented work style with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
