Overview

PALFINGER is a leading technology and mechanical engineering company with over 90 years of experience in innovative crane and lifting solutions. They are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service truck-mounted equipment in Atlanta, GA, in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Perform field repairs and troubleshooting of articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, conveyors, trucks, and trailers.
• Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance and annual DOT inspections as per customer schedule.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs during working and non-working hours.
• Communicate mechanical issues and needed repairs to job site and/or fleet managers.
• Document service activities in a timely manner, including estimates, work order authorization, and inventory documentation.
• Comply with state and federal safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly company vehicle and job site.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, troubleshooting diagnostics, and welding.
• Must be physically able to work in all weather conditions and lift 75lbs+ for extended periods.
• 3 years of mechanical experience or training with emphasis on articulating cranes and forklifts.
• Must speak, read, and write English.
• Supply own tools; PALFINGER proprietary tools will be provided.
