Overview

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking an Electrical Technician II for their Panel Shop, responsible for wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control panels for equipment like motors and compressors.

Responsibilities

  • Wire electrical controls panels following layout, work instructions, and appropriate standards.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics to properly wire control panels.
  • Assist line specialist with training of new employees.
  • Work independently with very little direction from Line Specialist or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
  • 2+ years of wiring experience - Required.
  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics - Required.
  • Use power tools - Required.
  • Use basic hand tools (Screwdriver, wire strippers, socket sets) - Required.
