Overview

Qualus is seeking a Wireman for their panel shop in Tucker, GA, responsible for planning, modifying, repairing, testing, and installing switchboard equipment and wiring. The role involves building electrical control panels and enclosures for various applications, working as part of a team to deliver finished products.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly, wiring, and inspection of relay and control panels for the electric utility industry.
• Reading and interpreting specifications, layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Performing inspections on electrical frames and panels.
• Performing point-to-point continuity checks per wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Performing verification of DC schematics including power and control circuits.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Attention to detail.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Must have troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
