Responsibilities
- Provide on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of injection stretch blow molding machinery and molds.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and mold issues in accordance with company protocols.
- Train plant maintenance and management staff in the safe operation and maintenance of plastics manufacturing equipment.
- Deliver clear and organized service and expense reports, maintaining accurate records of work performed.
- Utilize technical documentation, manuals, and available resources to systematically solve equipment problems.
- Provide effective telephone support and remote troubleshooting to customers as required.
- Assist with molding trials, sampling, shipping preparation, and other Technical Service Center activities.
- Foster constructive relationships with internal international sales, service, and design teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with injection molding or injection stretch blow molding machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities across all organizational levels.
- Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and technical manuals.
- Organizational and time management skills with attention to accurate record keeping and reporting.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer skills.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license; ability to travel extensively (60-75%).
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
