Overview

Turner Industries is a fully diversified industrial contractor headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, with over 20,000 employees. They are seeking Journeyman Pipefitters with a minimum of 4 years' experience for small project work at the P66 facility in Old Ocean, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Lays out, fabricates, prepares and checks pipe against job specifications for assembly at the job site.
  • Interprets spool sheet diagrams to determine size, shapes and angles of required pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, etc.
  • Plans sequence of fabrication.
  • Measures and cuts pipe.
  • Cleans and prepares pipe by grinding.
  • Bends and threads pipe, may operate bending machine.
  • Assembles and joins pipe and pipe fittings.
  • May operate hydraulic lift to relocate pipe.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Pipefitter.
  • NCCER highly preferred.
  • Must be able to pass craft test and safety council courses in English.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.
