Overview

Kelso Industries is seeking an experienced HVAC pipefitter foreman to lead a team in delivering exceptional HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical solutions nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of HVAC pipe installers.
• Oversee the installation of HVAC/R systems in commercial settings.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with established safety standards and regulations.
• Review schematics and blueprints to plan HVAC installations or repairs effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex HVAC issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Train new employees on best practices for HVAC installation, repair, and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 10 Years Experience in Commercial HVAC industry.
• Journeyman HVAC certification (Required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC/R systems.
• Ability to build custom solutions based on project requirements.
• Able to weld piping.
• Familiar with steam systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and quality workmanship.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.
