Responsibilities
- Perform operations in the manufacture of custom packages, heat exchangers, and vessels to required specifications and budgets.
- Assemble and weld sub assembly parts.
- Weld internal and external parts.
- Assemble and weld water boxes.
- Weld tube to tube sheet.
- Manufacture standard separators, receivers, and heat exchangers to required specifications and budgets.
- Assemble, weld, and install sub assembly parts.
- Install heads and sub arc.
- Assemble and weld supports, legs, and angles.
- Manufacture standard compressor packages to required specifications and budgets.
- Install package components.
- Assemble, weld, and install system piping.
- Assist in training less experienced employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
- Certified Vocational Degrees Preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in lieu of vocational degree/certificate in structural/pipe welding.
- Ability to qualify in a 6G test for Mig, Pulse, and Tig.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic blueprint reading.
- Basic fabrication skills.
- Comprehension of safety rules.
- Ability to sit, stand, reach, and walk for periods of time on concrete surfaces.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate tools and/or machinery.
