Overview
Buckeye is a leading infrastructure and logistics provider for the energy sector, focusing on safe and responsible service to meet evolving energy needs. They are seeking a Technician II with experience in pipeline, terminal, or plant operations and maintenance in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance support for pipeline and terminal facilities.
- Conduct regulatory and company policy preventative maintenance inspections.
- Maintain knowledge of new and current technology and equipment.
- Procure and manage outside contractors as needed.
- Implement company policies and specifications for facility installation and repairs.
- Train operations personnel on new or modified equipment or software.
- Maintain equipment records and documentation of work performed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education/work experience.
- Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance.
- Preferred experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs and truck/rail load rack presets.
- Preferred experience in measurement of liquids or gas.
- Must reside within 45 minutes normal driving time of the work location.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to navigate basic computer systems.
- Basic knowledge of SCADA applications and MS Office is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical skills and technical aptitude.
