Overview

Buckeye is a leading infrastructure and logistics provider for the energy sector, focusing on safe and responsible service to meet evolving energy needs. They are seeking a Technician II with experience in pipeline, terminal, or plant operations and maintenance in the Oil & Gas Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance support for pipeline and terminal facilities.
  • Conduct regulatory and company policy preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Maintain knowledge of new and current technology and equipment.
  • Procure and manage outside contractors as needed.
  • Implement company policies and specifications for facility installation and repairs.
  • Train operations personnel on new or modified equipment or software.
  • Maintain equipment records and documentation of work performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education/work experience.
  • Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance.
  • Preferred experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs and truck/rail load rack presets.
  • Preferred experience in measurement of liquids or gas.
  • Must reside within 45 minutes normal driving time of the work location.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to navigate basic computer systems.
  • Basic knowledge of SCADA applications and MS Office is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical skills and technical aptitude.
