Overview

The Structural Welder Helper position involves welding structural members while ensuring quality and safety. Candidates should have experience or schooling in structural welding and be familiar with various welding tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural members with consistent quality and safe work practices.
• Identify different types and preparation of materials used in structural welding.
• Understand proper care in handling materials.
• Identify and use various types of welding tools, wires, and machines.
• Troubleshoot by identifying issues and taking corrective actions.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in structural welding or schooling.
• Must be able to pass an FCAW and SMAW Structural Weld Test.
• Proficient in the use of cutting torch, plasma arcs, and cutting machines.
• Prior experience working off lifts or staging.
• Prior rigging experience is a plus.
