Overview

Design and support structural systems for industrial facilities and utility infrastructure projects. Work with engineering, project management, and sales teams to develop and execute structural solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze foundations, equipment supports, pipe racks, platforms, retaining walls, and building structures.
• Perform steel and reinforced concrete design using STAAD.Pro, RISA, SAP2000, or similar software.
• Prepare and review drawings, calculations, specifications, and material take-offs.
• Ensure compliance with IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, AWS, OSHA, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation, and controls teams.
• Review vendor drawings and submittals.
• Participate in design reviews, hazard analyses, and client meetings.
• Support project schedules, budgets, and progress reporting.
• Travel to project sites as needed (<5%).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of industrial structural engineering experience.
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, power, petrochemical, data center, or water/wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design.
• Proficiency with STAAD.Pro, RISA, RAM, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.
• EIT or PE preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
