Overview
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and execution of industrial, oil & gas, and power generation facilities. The role involves coordination and development of calculations, construction drawings, investigative reports, contracts, technical specifications, and design standards for these installations.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems.
- Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI.
- Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines.
- Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support.
- Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 0+ Years of experience (Engineer I) or 2-5+ Years of experience (Engineer II).
- Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design.
- EIT certification preferred.
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience using AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel.
- Experience with industry standards such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC and ACI.
