Overview

Fluidstack is focused on delivering large-scale compute infrastructure for AI, aiming to expand human freedom through technology. The Data Center Structural Engineer will play a key role in the design and execution of data centers, contributing to the development of innovative cooling and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the structural engineering workstream across a multi-site development portfolio.
• Conduct structural due diligence for greenfield and conversion sites.
• Review geotechnical reports and assign structural design actions.
• Develop and maintain structural basis of design and standard details.
• Manage external structural engineers of record through design milestones.
• Identify structural cost risks during site selection.

Requirements

• Experience in structural engineering on large-scale buildings or infrastructure.
• Ability to read geotechnical reports and translate data into design actions.
• Experience coordinating with civil, geotech, and MEP teams.
• Knowledge of foundations, structural steel, and building envelope systems.
• Ability to spot structural cost and constructability risks early.
• Bonus: PE license or active pursuit, experience with data centers or mission-critical structures.
