Overview

The Data Center Structural Engineer will play a key role in the design and execution of data centers, contributing to the development of innovative cooling and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the structural engineering workstream across a multi-site development portfolio.
- Conduct structural due diligence for greenfield and conversion sites.
- Review geotechnical reports and assign structural design actions.
- Develop and maintain structural basis of design and standard details.
- Manage external structural engineers of record through design milestones.
- Identify structural cost risks during site selection.
Requirements
- Experience in structural engineering on large-scale buildings or infrastructure.
- Ability to read geotechnical reports and translate data into design actions.
- Experience coordinating with civil, geotech, and MEP teams.
- Knowledge of foundations, structural steel, and building envelope systems.
- Ability to spot structural cost and constructability risks early.
- Bonus: PE license or active pursuit, experience with data centers or mission-critical structures.
