Overview
Ritel Incorporated is a fast-growing, minority-owned cell tower construction company specializing in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wireless radio and antenna systems on elevated structures. The Tower Climber role involves working in a dynamic, field-based environment focused on safety, quality, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and upgrade wireless radio, antenna, and related equipment on towers and elevated structures.
- Climb towers and route and secure cables using hand and power tools.
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot wireless systems and hardware issues.
- Document work performed and communicate with crew lead and project managers.
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in job-site safety meetings.
- Comply with company and industry regulations while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction tools used for tower work and equipment installation.
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance & repair of wireless, electrical, or mechanical systems.
- Foundational knowledge of wireless networking or willingness to learn wireless network concepts and components.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers.
- Comfort working at heights with the ability to climb and work on towers for extended periods.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, site plans, and equipment documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites throughout the region.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior tower, construction, or telecom experience is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to safe work practices and physical fitness suitable for lifting, carrying, and climbing.
Additional Information
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
- Most work is performed in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas, with additional opportunities to travel throughout Texas and occasionally to other states.
