Overview

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Carpenter Helper, responsible for assisting carpenters with various tasks and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Help carpenters by performing duties of lesser skill.
• Use, supply or hold materials or tools, and clean work area and equipment.
• Build rough wooden structures according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions.
• Assist carpenters in interior carpentry tasks such as installing doors, wall forms, trim work, and hardware.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.

Requirements

• 1 year Commercial Construction carpentry experience preferred.
