Job Description
Overview
A New Jersey based company is seeking a structural steel fabricator with experience in layout and fitting. The role requires overseeing a team to complete various projects, with compensation based on experience and skills.
Responsibilities
- Layout structural and miscellaneous steel
- Fit up structural and miscellaneous steel
- Operate overhead crane unloading material and loading finished projects
- Lead a team in projects to completion
Requirements
- Certified welder
- Osha 10 card or greater
- Form of transportation
- Understand and speak English
- Ability to MIG and stick weld
- Ability to read blueprints or follow technical specifications
- Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for long periods of time; often doing repetitive motions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Advanced mathematic skills
- 5 years of welding experience (Required)
- 5 years of fabrication experience (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
