Job Description
Overview
The position is for a MIG Welder on the 1st and 2nd shifts, offering a pay range of $21.25 to $24.25 per hour. The job involves safely and efficiently welding products while adhering to quality standards and work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Produce units within the standard cycle times while maintaining quality standards.
- Operate Miller welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Support standardized work processes and team-oriented goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Verify all previous parts have been assembled and/or welded correctly.
- Participate and maintain 5s standards.
- Understand and comply in support of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Perform special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Basic English language competency.
- Must be able to read and follow specific work instructions in English.
- Flexible to handle frequent business need changes.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with variable seasonal temperatures.
- Knowledge of weld-shop processes preferred.
- Previous manufacturing welding experience.
Additional Information
- 1st or 2nd Shift
- 10-12 hour shifts Monday – Friday, weekends as needed.
- Location: Gainesville and Lula, GA.
