Overview

Mortenson is seeking a Welder to provide preparation, handling, and supplying of materials, while setting up and performing moderate complexity welds from blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials
• Set up and perform welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications
• Assist engineering with prints and documentation design
• Conduct daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions
• Utilize basic problem-solving techniques and troubleshooting related to welding component parts
• Perform general cleanup and clearing of debris

Requirements

• Welding Certification: 3G and 4G - Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a welder
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull over 50 lbs with assistance
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others and build relationships with diverse backgrounds
• Possess basic understanding of construction hand tools
• Positive professional attitude
• Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
• Ability to adapt to change
• Punctual and dependable
