Responsibilities

• Interpret mechanical blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Perform both MIG and TIG weld processes on thin gauge stainless sheet.
• Produce sanitary welds that meet USDA requirements.
• Effectively communicate within a team environment and follow instructions.
• Adhere to internal operating procedures and safety policies.
• May be cross-trained in job functions based on capacity requirements.
• Recommend set-up and process changes for productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain production rates according to established standards.
• Notify supervisor of any problems with procedures or equipment.

Requirements

• Must be ASME certified or have the ability to become ASME certified.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and read a tape measure.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• May be required to have forklift and crane licenses.
• Basic knowledge of Syteline, TeamCenter, and other necessary programs.
