Overview

The Vessel Welder position is responsible for welding vessels using various processes including stick, MIG, flux core, and sub arc. The role emphasizes the importance of following instructions and ensuring quality welds that meet inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow all work instructions given by the Production Supervisor and/or QC Inspector.
• Make welds that pass visual inspection, x-ray, or other nondestructive testing.
• Ensure the material is square and level when welding.
• Perform all work in a safe manner.
