Overview

ATS is a company founded in 1985 with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, specializing in industrial maintenance to improve factory operations. The Field Service Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Senior performs expert level maintenance and troubleshooting on various devices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
• Works with customer counterparts to optimize maintenance and reliability procedures.
• May setup and operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks.
• Complies with customer contractor codes of conduct and safety processes.
• Documents work performed in service reports and management systems.
• Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems.
• Utilizes advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
• Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs.
• Follows all safety related policies, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience, or 12 years of experience in specific industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Extensive travel required (Local, National, International).
• Experience in condition based maintenance techniques and maintenance of applicable process equipment is desirable.
• Experience in programmable logic controllers and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems is desirable.
