Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding and fabrication of high-purity stainless steel gas and fluid handling assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare, fit, assemble, and weld stainless steel pipe, tubing, and structural components using proper techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, BOMs, and weld procedures to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Maintain welding certifications and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and QA/QC teams while mentoring junior welders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or post-secondary education preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent advanced training, with TIG welding experience required.
• Previous orbital welding experience preferred.
• Current welding certification required, or ability to obtain/re-certify certification.
• Ability to pass a 6G stainless steel TIG pipe weld test.
• Strong welding portfolio or examples of previous workmanship preferred.
