Overview

The Welder/Fabricator position involves supporting the fabrication and installation of ductwork and specialty components, primarily through welding various materials in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld ductwork and components using approved processes to meet job specs and quality standards.
• Fabricate and weld duct for applications such as kitchen exhaust, breechings/flues, shower exhaust, and fume exhaust.
• Weld and assemble specialty fabricated items such as drain pans, belt guards, hoppers, and roof curbs/adaptors.
• Perform layout, measurement, cutting, fit-up, tacking, final welds, and grinding/finishing as required.

Requirements

• Proven welding experience in a fabrication environment (sheet metal, HVAC, industrial, or related).
• Ability to weld/fabricate in galvanized, stainless, aluminum, and carbon steel.
• Ability to read shop drawings/prints, take accurate measurements, and perform layout and fit-up.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and workmanship.

Additional Information

• Pay: $21-25/hr.
• Shift: 1st
• Location: Harrisburg, PA
