Job Description
Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Pipe Welders in the Baltimore, MD area for a heavy industrial contractor. Candidates must be familiar with stainless steel and TIG welding for pressurized piping systems.
Responsibilities
- Pass an ASME 6G 6" Carbon Steel SMAW Pipe Test is a plus.
- Perform butt weld and socket weld of stainless-steel process piping.
- Socket weld up to 2" diameter.
- Butt-weld up to 8" diameter.
Requirements
- Experience with stainless steel and TIG welding.
- Familiarity with pressurized piping systems.
