Job Description

Overview

The Structural Steel Welder position involves welding structural steel parts according to specified drawings and weld symbols. The role requires a welding certification in D1.1 2G/3G and relevant experience, along with a willingness to learn and the ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Weld structural steel parts as specified per drawings and marked up weld symbols.
  • Ensure structural components are welded correctly through visual inspection.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes, air arc, grinder, magnetic drill, and other required tools.
  • Perform flux core welding in 2G/3G positions.

Requirements

  • Prior experience operating overhead cranes.
  • Prior welding experience in flux core is ideal.
  • 1 2G/3G certification preferred.
  • Must be flexible to work any schedule, including overtime and Saturdays.
