Overview

The Welder/Hand Build Technician's primary objective is to set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment to weld together fabricated metal parts or subassemblies as specified by blueprints and procedures, working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment.
• Weld together fabricated metal parts or subassemblies according to specifications.
• Work from oral and written instructions with little or no supervision.
• Perform critical welds on loaders, subframes, subassemblies, or parts.
