Overview

Saulsbury Industries is seeking a Pipefitter to perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on various piping systems and equipment. The role requires knowledge of system operations and the ability to work with hand and machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Uses basic knowledge of regulations and requirements to determine methods and materials needed.
• Prepares and/or works from sketches, plans, specifications, and roughing-in sheets.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related equipment.
• Installs and repairs piping systems using various joint types.
• Performs lockout and tag procedures to secure and deactivate equipment.
• Inspects work site for obstructions and structural integrity.
• Bends, cuts, and threads pipe using appropriate tools.
• Dismantles equipment to access and remove defective parts.
• Performs manual tasks involving moving materials and using tools.
• Completes paperwork documenting repair and maintenance activities.
• Works with other crafts as needed based on conditions or workload.
• Secures pipes to structures using brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Follows safety policies and procedures while working in operating facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in layout, installation, and maintenance tasks.
• Possess a valid drivers’ license with a good driving record.
