Responsibilities
- Fuse or weld metal structural components using GMAW arc welding.
- Perform welding operations from blueprints or written specifications.
- Utilize safety devices and wear mandatory personal protective equipment.
- Adjust welding equipment to prescribed settings.
- Maintain and operate production tooling and welding equipment safely.
- Read and complete labor reporting and standard shop forms.
Requirements
- Ability to calculate simple mathematics and interpret shop drawings.
- Basic working knowledge of computer programs like Microsoft Outlook.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Acceptable attendance and prior employment record.
- Three to five years of hands-on MIG welding experience in a production environment.
- Multi-pass, stack layering welding experience.
- Ability to operate overhead cranes, prior experience preferred.
- Ability to read weld symbols and understand blueprints.
- Must be able to use and accurately read a tape measure.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Information
- This position is for 1st shift, working Monday through Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Starting pay is $25.53 per hour.
