Duties/Responsibilities/Skills:

*Utilize MIG and/or TIG for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. *Finish parts (straighten, grind, polish, wipe down, etc.) per spec on print or lead’s instruction. *Read and interpret customer drawings. *Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications. *Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded. *Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper. *Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check. *Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames. *Have great communication skills and be detail oriented.

Experience:

*Can demonstrate welding/fabricating knowledge and skill

*Food grade polishing experience is a plus. *At least 1 year of blueprint reading ()

Physical Requirements:

*Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending. *Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. *All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Education:

*High School or equivalent

Salary:

*Starting at $18- $28+/hour (based on knowledge and experience)

Schedule:

*8-10 hour shifts *Monday-Friday *Daytime
