Overview

SPX Technologies, through its Engineered Air Movement division, is seeking a MIG Welder for day shift to join their team in manufacturing industrial fans and blowers. The role involves performing MIG tack welding operations to create functional metal components while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Confirm material, sizes, and parts match work orders.
• Self-monitor the quality of work and report defects.
• Weld to specifications on mild and stainless steel.
• Read blueprints and coordinate staging of parts.
• Prepare metals and work surfaces for production.
• Transfer completed products to the next workstation.
• Perform light maintenance on equipment as needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of MIG welding experience in a production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Forklift certification and overhead crane operation.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
