Overview

Agri-Cover, Inc., an aftermarket automotive manufacturer, is seeking a full-time Welder for their Jamestown, ND location. The role involves welding various parts from materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, galvanized, or aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Weld various parts from materials consisting of mild steel, stainless steel, galvanized, or aluminum.
• Place machined parts into the appropriate welding fixture.
• Weld inside the welding booth.
• Use appropriate air filtration systems when welding outside of the booth.
• Operate Miller pulse welders, Lincoln mig welders, Lincoln tig welders, Fronius welder, AccuPress break presses, Hydamech Bandsaw, and various hand and power tools.
• Keep the work area and building clean and organized.
• Implement improvements.
• Support the Metal Fabrication department in various duties when welding is not required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Entry level computer skills, including the ability to learn Microsoft Outlook and email.
