Overview

Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a Welder/Container Repair at our site in Sanford, FL. This position will be responsible for performing work on Garbage Containers, Roll-Off and Compactors.

Responsibilities

Perform work on Garbage Containers.
Repair Roll-Off containers.
Maintain and repair Compactors.

Requirements

2+ years' of welding experience or Technical College certification in Welding.
Experience with SMAW - Stick Welding / Shield and Metal Arc / All Positions.
Experience with GMAW - Gas Metal Arc / All Positions.
Experience with FCAW - Flux core Arc Welding / All Positions.
Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.
Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.

Monday-Friday day shift typically working 10 hour days.
May work every other weekend for extra overtime.
