Overview

The Experienced Welder/Fabricator position is a full-time role on the 2nd shift, focused on setting up and tack welding various metals to create sub-assemblies for cylinders and swivels, while adhering to Weld Procedure Specifications.

Responsibilities

• Repair weld flaws and leakers from assembly.
• Tack and weld parts according to the appropriate weld procedure.
• Clean and inspect all finished sub-assemblies as trained.
• Store finished sub-assemblies and unused parts per proper procedures.
• Read and interpret shop routings and prints.
• Set up the job per the appropriate weld procedures and work instructions using fixtures and jigs where applicable.
• Perform and obtain the first part piece inspection.
• Conduct general maintenance such as changing tips, liners, wire, and gas.
• Return tools and fixtures to their proper locations when the job is complete.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years associate degree in Welding with one or more years in a variety of welding techniques.
• Must be able to pass the JARP Industries weld certification test.
• Required to pass all weld certification tests within 2 years of hire.
• Welding experience in flux core, sub-arc, and MIG is a must.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Manufacturing experience.
