Overview

Westmor Industries is seeking a skilled welder for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will follow safety procedures, maintain an organized workspace, and adhere to appropriate weld procedures, with training provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and dimension styles
• Preparing weld surfaces as required
• Setting up correct welder settings
• Welding according to appropriate codes and procedures
• Following safe operating procedures for overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints
• Willing to train the right person
• Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
