Responsibilities

• Read and understand fabrication drawings.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain a valid welding certification.
• Ensure equipment is properly stored.
• Assist in maintaining an organized yard.
• Work productively as a team member.
• Take responsibility for tools and equipment safety.
• Comply with Doka Standards regarding quality and safety.
• Participate in physical stock taking and interact with staff.
• Use approved safety equipment consistently.
• Ask questions and seek continual training.
• Ensure proper disposal of damaged materials.
• Comply with cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Safely perform lifting tasks up to 100lbs.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and stored properly.

Requirements

• Possess valid welding certification and experience in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding.
• High school graduate.
• Previous experience in a construction or building materials yard is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills and technical proficiency.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new products and techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
