Overview
The Welder Helper performs various duties assigned by the supervisor, including grinding, sanding, stocking workstations, and maintaining a clean environment. The role requires the ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently to support welders.
Responsibilities
- Grind and sand materials as directed.
- Stock weld workstations.
- Complete part fabrication and fit up for welders.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Replace or assist other workers as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Must have experience in a welding shop environment.
- Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 75 pounds and over.
- Ability to comprehend additional training related to work duties.

Additional Information
- Work hours are 8 to 10 hours per day.
