The Maintenance Welder at Republic Services performs repairs and maintenance on vehicle components including floors, bodies, and blades using various welding techniques. The company is a leader in the environmental services industry, committed to sustainability and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Cuts/welds repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, and fabrication.
• Welds steel and aluminum components using Mig and arc welding equipment.
• Bends steel components using a break and shear.
• Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Completes required paperwork.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year welding experience.
• Attention to Detail – Notices small details and ensures tasks are completed correctly.
• Communication – Provides timely and accurate information to supervisors and co-workers.
• Customer Service – Acts professionally and courteously towards customers and co-workers.
• Dependability – Follows through on commitments and adheres to the work schedule.
