Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join a well-established service center in the Houston area, specializing in industrial welding and high-voltage production equipment. The position focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical faults in specialized industrial equipment while performing field service calls to maintain mission-critical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults in high-voltage production equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Perform repairs on orbital welding machines, utilizing specialized knowledge to resolve issues quickly.
• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and maintenance.
• Engage in field service visits to provide on-site support and repairs, enhancing client satisfaction and equipment performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically repairing industrial production equipment in a service center, manufacturing, or field service environment.
• Demonstrated direct experience servicing and repairing orbital welding machines.
• Proven proficiency in the electrical repair of high-voltage production equipment.
• Strong electronics and electrical technician foundation with the ability to read schematics and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Experience working with Lincoln welding machines or equivalent industrial arc welding systems.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday (Shop environment with field service visits as needed)
