Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing.
• Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation according to established procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as lift trucks and pneumatic systems.
• Operate material handling equipment and other powered machinery.
• Clean and maintain grounds and facilities.
• Read and understand technical drawings to repair and maintain equipment.
• Change industrial batteries for all types of power equipment.
• Maintain and inspect industrial equipment batteries.
• Assist other maintenance technicians in repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment problems.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment.
• Coursework or certification in industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, mechanical automation, or mechatronics.
• Active industry recognized certification such as CRMT or MCET is preferred.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
