Overview
The Assembler 1 position at the Ledbetter location involves preparing and assembling components according to specifications, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have warehouse experience and be capable of lifting and handling materials throughout their shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts list.
- Positions parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions and notifying the supervisor for additional resources.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience (Inventory or Assembly).
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to speak and read English.
- MRP experience is a plus.
- Basic attention to detail when working with numbers and inventory.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured warehouse environment.
