Overview

The Recruiter will manage WeldFit’s complete recruiting function across various roles in the energy sector. This hands-on position involves building scalable processes, enhancing the employer brand, and advising hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for all open roles including manufacturing/operations, engineering, field services, sales, and corporate functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions, scorecards, and structured interview guides.
  • Manage candidate pipelines from sourcing through offer negotiation while ensuring a high-touch candidate experience.
  • Target a time-to-fill of ≤30 days for standard roles and ≤60 days for technical or senior roles.
  • Build proactive pipelines for hard-to-fill roles including welders and licensed engineers.
  • Develop relationships with local technical colleges and universities to source talent.
  • Champion WeldFit’s employer brand across various job boards and social media.
  • Manage an employee referral program.
  • Partner with HR leadership on headcount forecasting and succession planning.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and present insights to leadership monthly.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future needs.
  • Support workforce diversification initiatives and ensure equitable hiring practices.
  • Own the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure data hygiene.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for recruiting.
  • Manage relationships with external staffing agencies and negotiate contracts.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on market conditions and compensation.
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
  • Develop onboarding materials for new hires.
  • Conduct interviews and qualify or reject candidates based on feedback.
  • Serve as the contact person for candidate inquiries.
  • Meet weekly quotas related to calls and emails.
