Overview

Allegion, a leader in security solutions, is seeking a Welder to join Krieger Specialty Products, a manufacturer of special purpose doors and windows. The position requires expertise in welding and offers a supportive work environment focused on safety and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

Weld mild and stainless-steel sheet metal from 16 ga to 7 ga thick.
Weld structural steel tubing with a .25 wall thickness.
Operate with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of welding experience.
Ability to be qualified per AWS D1.3 within 120 days.
Self-starter with the ability to read shop packets and fabricate to standards.

Work environment is usually loud.
Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, and twisting.
