DXP is seeking a Temporary Welder to join their team, emphasizing a commitment to quality customer service and employee development. The company has been serving industrial customers since 1908, focusing on MROP products and services.

Responsibilities

• Perform mig, tig, and stick welding.
• Conduct pipe, steel, and stainless steel welding.
• Engage in pipe fitting.
• Receive instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
• Plan details of working procedure, tools, and material requirements.
• Fabricate equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
• Repair equipment using welding techniques and appropriate equipment.
• Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded.
• Set up, assemble, and tack weld parts.
• Build up worn or defective surfaces.
• Use burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and cut material to size and shape.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.

Requirements

• Welding experience.
• Familiarity with iron worker, plasma cutter, pipe threaded, and grinders.
• Background check, physical, and drug test required.
