Overview

As a Spot Weld Operator at Allegion, you will operate and maintain a spot-welding machine in a repetitive production environment. Allegion is a global leader in security solutions, recognized for its exceptional workplace culture and commitment to safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a spot-welding machine or station.
• Independently run equipment and perform basic setups.
• Ensure quality and interpret production paperwork.
• Adhere to collective bargaining agreement provisions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant manufacturing/welding station experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency reading and applying production paperwork.
• Ability to perform easy setups and routine machine adjustments.
• Basic inspection and measuring skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be 18+ and able to work assigned shifts and overtime.

Additional Information

• Classification: Non-Exempt
• Reports to: Production Superintendent
• Shift: 1st: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Work environment is usually loud with PPE required.
• Occasional exposure to adhesives, solvents, or sealant fumes.
