Overview

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their local and regional team, focusing on routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of Walmart stores and equipment. This role requires adherence to maintenance schedules and guidelines under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders frequently.
• Able to work in various temperatures.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
