Overview

The Maintenance Technician II position offers a starting pay of $28 - $31.50 per hour and is a full-time role in a food manufacturing environment. The company provides opportunities for advancement and is associated with popular retail brands such as Red Baron®, Tony's®, and Freschetta® pizza.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and food production machinery.
• Perform complex mechanical repairs including shaft keying, sprocket broaching, gear head replacement, stainless steel welding, hydraulic hose fabrication, and belt maintenance.
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, welding, fabrication, and installation of new or modified plant machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues through observation, auditory assessment, and use of precision measuring instruments.
• Utilize SAP software to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and communicate with production and operations teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to work different ranges of hours such as full-time, overtime, or weekend shifts.
• Basic to advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical and building skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
