Responsibilities

  • Read layouts, diagrams, project commissioning documents, and material lists.
  • Conduct field surveys.
  • Perform mild rigging and mill work.
  • Assist Facilities personnel with survey or engineering and construction tasks.
  • Make decisions on assigned projects.
  • Use appropriate welding gases to produce quality welds.
  • Fabricate, install, and perform detailed assembly work as required.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent coursework.
  • 5 years of experience as an industrial technician.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics.
  • Experienced in Mig and Tig welding.
  • Proficiency with shop math and hand tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical operations.

  • Work hours are 2:30pm - 11pm, Monday to Friday with occasional overtime on Saturdays.

What you'll be running
